My lovely roommates threw a wonderful bridal shower for me. I had a lot of fun and thought it was a big success. They had it over conference weekend during the Priesthood session, so that way the guys would all be busy. Here are some of the memories.
I had lots of great friends show up, like most of my freshman roommates. Lauren even flew in from D.C. area to be here. Here are my roommates setting up. They had it at the club house of Glenwood. 
There was great food. I love the hostess 3 tiered wedding cake in the back.
We had some fun activities. One of them being dressing up my roommate Lindsey and sister Emily up in wedding gowns made from toilet paper.
They also had me answer some questions about Brian. I did pretty good, except for the questions he wasn't sure of himself and just made up on the spot (like his favorite car). For every question I missed I had to eat another piece of gum. I don't think my mouth got too full.
My roommates made an advice jar, where people could put in little bits of advice to help or hinder us in our marriage. The advice jar also showed up in our wedding receptions, and we got a kick out of reading them as we drove across the country later.
And of course there was presents. Everyone was very generous and helped Brian and I start our new life together.

I am grateful that I had such great roommates to put the time and effort into throwing me such a fun bridal shower.
